Japanese Lantern

The Japanese traditional lantern, 行灯 (andon) in Japanese, is a beautiful decorative item that can have a magical effect on architectural spaces. My 3D printer has helped me produce a few different original designs. The light is a small warm white LED module, controlled with my original 555 timer-based PWM circuit for brightness setting. The LM358 op-amp is used with the resistors between GND and the FET source to keep the peak current from drifting as the LED temperature changes.
